Help us identify inaccurate, outdated, or unclear information on WorkOn Roofs.
What to include in a correction request
- The full WorkOn Roofs page URL.
- The exact sentence, figure or link that appears wrong.
- A current primary source supporting the correction.
- The source’s date, geography and occupation or jurisdiction where relevant.
- A brief explanation of the proposed change.
Use Contact. Keep personal applicant information and unrelated private documents out of the request.
Examples of useful reports
| Issue | Useful evidence |
|---|---|
| Wage mismatch | “The page labels this a median, but the linked table column is the mean. Here is the table and occupation code.” |
| Outdated training intake | “The sponsor’s current application page shows a different intake period. Here is its dated notice.” |
| Broken link | “This link from [page] now returns an error; the provider’s current page is [URL].” |
| Misleading scope | “The figure covers all roofers, but the text describes commercial service technicians only.” |
What is not enough to establish a correction
A different salary in one job advertisement does not make a government median incorrect. An individual experience does not establish a national hiring statistic. An undated screenshot may need its original URL and context. Explain the mismatch so the source and statement can be compared.
For a live job’s pay, schedule or requirements, contact the hiring employer as well as reporting any listing discrepancy. For suspected impersonation, include factual identity inconsistencies and see listing safety guidance.
This page provides a reporting process, not a guaranteed response time or a claim that every report will result in a change. The relevant evidence should determine whether content is corrected, clarified or retained.
Send a useful correction
- Include the exact page or job-listing URL.
- Quote or identify the statement that needs attention.
- Explain what appears incorrect or outdated.
- Include a reliable source or relevant public evidence when available.
What happens next
Correction requests should be evaluated against the page and supporting evidence. An editorial guide, employer-supplied listing, and external resource may require different follow-up. A report does not by itself establish that a claim is false or that a listing is fraudulent.
Protect private information
Do not include passwords, banking information, identity documents, or private employee records. If a concern involves an external hiring conversation, describe the issue without sharing unnecessary personal information.
Submit a correction or concern
For questions about how pay examples and data are presented, see Our Salary Data Methodology.
Make the requested correction specific
A useful report says what the page currently states and what should replace it, with a dated source where possible. For example: “The training link on this page has moved; the provider’s current program page is…” An employer listing correction should identify whether duties, pay, location, or application instructions changed.
