A practical job-search session

Choose one target role and location. Read two or three current postings if available, record what they require and identify the terms they omit. Tailor your résumé to truthful evidence for that role. Prepare questions about pay, reporting location, travel, schedule and supervision. Submit through a working application route and keep a dated record.

If the board has no suitable vacancy today, use the official employer and apprenticeship directories linked in job-search channels. The resource library remains useful for preparation, but it does not imply that every listed specialty or city has an active opening.

How to judge a resource

Look for a clear distinction between sourced facts, example calculations and advice. Check dates on wage information and confirm program requirements directly. Use the correction form guidance when a source or link no longer matches a page.
